The FQHKT e.V. began as a start-up at Heidelberg University of Education. The purpose of the association is to promote and ensure the quality of the Heidelberg Competence Training for the Development of Mental Strength (HKT).
By decision of the Heidelberg Tax Office dated 14 March 2014, FQHKT e.V. is recognised as a charitable organisation under Section 60a(1) of the German Fiscal Code (AO) for the “promotion of education, public and vocational training, including student support”.
To promote the further development of the HKT, particularly with regard to target groups, areas of activity, content, methods and formats, as well as the conduct of feasibility and effectiveness studies.
Ensuring the quality of the HKT, in particular by establishing and precisely defining quality standards with regard to the qualifications of HKT trainers and the delivery of HKT training courses. Establishing and implementing monitoring measures in relation to these quality standards.
