The ProMobiL^GS project of the Heidelberg University of Education is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) until December 2022 as part of the "Lehramt.International" Module A programme for the internationalisation of teacher education.

The primary goal is to establish structured mobility windows for prospective primary school teachers and thus to ensure full recognition of credits earned abroad. The project is managed by the Center for International Teacher Education (CITE). In the ProMobiL^GS project group, CITE cooperates closely with the university board, the subjects and the quality management unit.

For the winter semester 2020/21, ProMobiL^GS started for the first time offering full scholarships for study visits at selected partner universities abroad. This call for applications is aimed at students of the B.A. programme in primary education (primary school teacher education) who wish to spend the fourth semester abroad. Study achievements are expected to be fully recognized, so that the studies can be continued at the PH Heidelberg after the semester abroad without extending the study period.

The application form with details of the documents to be submitted and a checklist for applicants are available in the Download Centre of the International Office. The complete application documents must be submitted in paper form to the International Office. (Receipt of the written application in paper form at the International Office). Only complete applications will be considered.
