The Graduate School was established in 2014. It provides an interdisciplinary environment for the further scientific qualification of young researchers in educational and pedagogical science at the Heidelberg University of Education. The Graduate School stands for a sustainable advancement of young researchers (doctoral candidates and postdocs) and offers its members various, comprehensive support: Young researchers benefit from an exclusive, interdisciplinary training program, individual mentoring by experienced professionals from science and industry, coaching opportunities, and much more.

The research at the Heidelberg University of Education is characterized by an interdisciplinary variety of educational topics as well as by a nationally and internationally visible focus on educational science. We are especially committed to the topic of inclusion in educational contexts. Thereby we understand inclusion as the individual promotion of all learners.
