Bethany College is situated in West Virginia, 1 hour from Pittsburg. It has a typical North American campus with lots of dining locations and sport facilities. There you can study most subjects, and up to 3-5 courses can be credited at the PH. You can also join fraternities/sororities. Housing only possible on campus. Students of all PH faculties are invited to apply!

Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas offers a combination of M.A. in Languages and Cultures (LACU) and a teaching assistantship at the German department, which pays for the program. The teaching assistant position will give you an insight into pedagogy, lesson planning and test creation. Graduate students from all disciplines holding a “Staatsexamen”, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree can apply. There is also the possibility to earn the "Certificate for Teaching English in International Contexts". The university is situated serves about 32,000 students and is situated in Lubbock, a city with 240,000 residents.
