For Learning in Encounter for common values in diversity of different worldviews (formerly called 'Sharing Worldviews', in German 'Interreligiöses Begegnungslernen'), we have been offering an inter-university additional qualification at University of Education Heidelberg since 2013, because we believe that dialogue in encounter can be learned especially in and with the subjects that deal with claims of absolute truth and existential questions, i.e. in the subjects of religious and ethics education.

Sharing Worldviews - Learning in Encounter for common Values in Diversity is the name of our Erasmus+ funded project, with which we now want to offer this additional qualification digitally and internationally for student teachers and teaching staff. Across countries and in digital spaces, you will be offered courses, handouts and material to give you the tools to conduct encounter learning among pupils of your school type through encounter in digital spaces.

At the same time, we are starting to build a network of schools from Turkey, Greece, Austria and Germany that want to communicate digitally and internationally and offer you the didactic concept of Sharing Worldviews. All schools are invited to join us!

Students of our partners from the Ankara University and Eskişehir Osmangazi University in Turkey, the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, the University College of Teacher Education Vienna/Krems (KPH), the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg (University for Jewish Studies) and the Universities of Education in Karlsruhe and Freiburg will be brought into conversation with each other about various existential and relevant topics from the perspective of their different interpretations of the world, and thus form themselves in dialogue skills and digital competences.

We qualify teachers for the plural school of the future!
