The study and examination regulations govern the framework conditions of your Bachelor's degree programme in Primary Education. They include programme objectives and content, admission requirements, information on the scope and course of the programme.
The module handbook covers all modules of your degree programme.
You will find information, for example, on module content and scope, learning objectives and skills, associated courses and examinations as well as organisational matters (e.g. module type, duration, frequency of courses, contact persons).
Your study plan helps you to plan your degree programme in the standard period of study. It shows you how your degree programme is structured semester by semester, e.g. when you should ideally take which modules, how many credit points (ECTS) you should earn or when practical phases are planned for the Bachelor's degree in Primary Education. You can find it in the module handbook and in the study and examination regulations.
The study and examination regulations contain all information on the necessary examinations, including the final examination and examination procedures.
Each semester, the examination schedule provides you with a timetable of the days on which your examinations in the individual subjects or areas of study take place.

You will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education (Primary School Teaching Qualification). This degree qualifies you for a career in an educational field such as educational and family counselling, all-day school care or in educational centres, but not yet for a job as a teacher in the state school service.
If you would like to teach at primary schools, you can continue your studies on the Master of Education Primary School Teacher Training programme.
To do this, you must apply to the PHHD by the deadline.
This degree programme is divided into two parts: a university part and a practical part. You will complete the university degree programme with a Master's examination. After successfully completing 12 months of preparatory service, you will be awarded a Master's degree.
To work as a teacher in the state school system, you must successfully complete a total of 18 months of preparatory service.
If you wish to continue with a Master's degree immediately after completing your Bachelor's degree, please note the deadlines for registering and completing your thesis.
