In a society increasingly geared towards digitalisation, more and more companies and educational institutions are turning to digital media and learning opportunities. Graduates work at universities and other academic institutions, in publishing houses, agencies, online editorial offices and other companies (e.g. market research institutes, auditing companies and management consultancies). There they work in areas such as training development, e-learning consulting and design, as scriptwriters for e-training courses, in training design, including for game-based learning, or as research assistants in e-learning.
According to data from the 2018 and 2019 graduate studies, around 85% of graduates find a job within 3 months of completing the programme. The Master's degree programme also qualifies you for a doctorate - and thus for entry into science and research - for example with the support of the Graduate School of Heidelberg University of Education.
