Below on the right you will find a checklist of the documents to be submitted. Please also note the special features of the individual degree programmes (see overview below). If necessary, further required documents will be listed in the application portal.
The Master's degree programmes do not have a uniform application procedure or a uniform application deadline. We therefore explain the application procedure for each individual Master's degree programme below.
You can only apply for the M.A. Educational Sciences in the winter semester.

About the M. A. Community Health Promotion programme
Applications for the M. A. Lifeworld-oriented Health Promotion are always possible for the winter semester until 15 September.

You can apply for the M. Ed. in Special Education by 15 November for the summer semester and by 15 May for the winter semester.

- Certificate of a Master's degree related to a teaching profession or the first or second state examination for a teaching profession
Proof of previous activities in the teaching profession or at schools

To the M. Ed. special education teaching degree programme
You can apply for the M.Ed. in Primary School Teaching, Secondary Level I or Special Needs Education by 15 November for the summer semester and by 15 May for the winter semester.

Applications for the M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology for the higher teaching profession at vocational schools (Engineering Education) are always possible for the summer semester by 15 January.
Please have the documents listed in the checklist ready for your application. You should also prepare the following documents for upload:
Certificate of first professionally qualifying degree after studying electrical engineering or related degree programmes (if available)
the certificate or transcript of records must show
- at least 30 ECTS in the field of electrical power engineering and automation technology (e.g. electrical machines, electrical drives, electrical systems and grids, high-voltage engineering, renewable energies, electronics, power electronics, programmable logic controllers)
- at least 20 ECTS in the field of systems and information technology (e.g. systems theory, digital technology, microcomputers, control engineering, industrial communication technology)
- at least 20 ECTS in the field of educational science and didactics (e.g. basics of psychology, general technology didactics, basics of teaching and learning organisation)
- Proof of previous practical activities (e.g. vocational training, internships, traineeships) or other relevant educational activities
