The English Drama Group was founded with the purpose of staging English language plays with foreign language learners in the original version. In this way, the EDG aims to open up alternative approaches to foreign language learning and to foster intercultural exchange and understanding. The EDG stages immersive, site-specific productions in locations of special interest in the Heidelberg region. The play currently being staged by the English Drama Group will be performed in January.
