The culture of sport and exercise in university sport motivates people to take part in sport regularly and promotes social life at the university. We see sport as an element for maintaining and improving personal well-being, health and general performance as well as for personal development.
In the adh (Allgemeiner Deutscher Hochschulsportverband) we live a democratic basic understanding. We attach great importance to a constructive culture of discussion and transparent decision-making processes. We support decisions together and represent them loyally both internally and externally. We stand up for manipulation-free sport and sustainably promote awareness of fair play. We are characterised by active student participation and diversity within the adh. We promote and maintain this in accordance with the principle of equal opportunities. Respectful and solidary interaction with each other and mutual appreciation are particularly important to us.
