Public Transport Tickets

The CampusCard of the PH Heidelberg does not currently include a semester ticket offer. However, you can use the following options:

The VRN's D-Ticket JugendBW is an affordable solution for students under the age of 27 . The former Jugendticket BW has been converted into a Deutschlandticket and allows you to travel on local transport throughout Germany. It is offered as an annual subscription, but students can cancel after 6 months.

Students over the age of 27 can use the classic Deutschland-Ticket, which also offers mobility on local transport throughout Germany. It is issued as a mobile phone ticket or chip card and can be cancelled monthly.

Would you like to cycle to the university or move quickly from one university location to another?
The PH Heidelberg participates in the "CAMPUSBike" programme of the Rhine-Neckar Transport Association (VRNnextbike). Once you have successfully registered, you can use the hire bikes, which are available at stations all over the city, at more favourable conditions - and protect the environment in the process!
