A warm welcome to the reading room of the Institute of Geography and Geocommunication! Are you looking for specialist literature for your next essay, teaching materials for your teaching placement, or simply a quiet place to work? Then why not pop into the reading room! In the Institute’s reading room, you’ll find a wide selection of specialist literature, school textbooks, atlases and journals on geography education. All items are listed in the Heidelberg University of Education library catalogue and can be viewed and borrowed on site.
Items may be borrowed until the next opening day – please return them no later than 2 hours after opening time.
Example: If the reading room opens at 9.00 am, items must be returned by 11.00 am.
The absolute return deadline is 12:00.
These include the lecturers’ reference collection, journals and reference collections.
These may only be borrowed during opening hours in exchange for a deposit.
