Counselling Days - BeTa
The content you have to study at the Heidelberg University of Teacher Education is specified in your official notification of assessment from the Tübingen Regional Council. At the beginning of your degree programme, you should therefore contact the student advisory service for the subject you need to re-study.
Together you will then determine an individual study plan. Organise your studies in such a way that you can manage your workload per semester.
To the study counselling service
The semester at the PH Heidelberg starts either on 1 October (winter semester) or 1 April (summer semester). Lectures and courses start about 2 weeks later in each case.
At the beginning of your postgraduate studies
Make an appointment with the subject advisor responsible for your subject before your first semester at the university.
Together you will then draw up your individual study plan and determine which modules and associated courses you need to attend.
Before each semester
Check which modules you have to take according to your study plan. You can find more information about the modules in the module handbook.
In the course catalogue you will find the relevant courses and links for registration for all modules. Register for your courses in good time.
In the semester
Attend the courses and take the corresponding examinations. These can be, for example, written examinations at the end of the semester or course-related examinations such as presentations or written assignments. Remember: You must also register for the examinations (registration via the subject you are studying) and document your examination results.
Organisation during your studies
Re-registration for the next semester, registration for courses and examinations - there are many to-do's that you need to take care of during your studies. Our colleagues at the Student Service Center know all about organising your studies and are happy to help.
At the end of your postgraduate programme
Have you completed all the necessary examinations for your postgraduate programme? Congratulations!
Submit the certificates to the Academic Examination Office and you will receive a confirmation of your examination results. Submit this to the Regierungspräsidium Tübingen.
To the Academic Examination Office
Did your practical school education differ from that in Baden-Württemberg and can you not compensate for this with 3 years of professional experience? Then an examination or an adaptation period of up to 12 months is required. Information on this can be found on the website of the Tübingen Regional Council.
