The Center for International Teacher Education (CITE) coordinates strategic internationalisation at Heidelberg University of Education with a clear academic focus. CITE is assigned to the Vice-Rectorate for Studies, Teaching and Internationalisation and the International Office (AAA) and is anchored as a department within the AAA. The management is responsible for day-to-day operations and develops concepts for internationalisation. An academic advisory board supports CITE in strategic planning and project development.
The additional qualification of the Heidelberg University of Education is aimed at students who are internationally engaged beyond their studies and would like to acquire and have their intercultural competences recognised. It documents and recognises experience abroad, international engagement at the university and participation in courses related to international/cultural topics.
With the certificate, you not only strengthen your global profile, but also your career prospects in an increasingly international educational and working world.
Prioritisation in the LSF

Here you can find the specialisations "Internationality" and "Development Cooperation".
Courses that can be found under this specialisation can be included in the additional qualification Certificate Global Citizen.
