Teaching degree in English

We offer a theoretically sound and practice-oriented teacher training programme in English linguistics, literature, cultural studies, and TEFL. With a committed and international team, exciting courses, and a wide range of exchange opportunities, we will support you on your path to becoming a professional teacher. We wish you an inspiring and successful academic journey!

Moreover, the members of our department are involved in numerous research projects focusing on different facets of TEFL and beyond, including international and cross-university projects. The academic exchange with colleagues from other universities is of central importance to us.

Our student council consists of dedicated English students. It is in close contact with the English Department and contributes the students' perspectives on various topics relating to the degree programmes.
